Asbestos Contracting requires all staff to hold NZQA units in first aid, operating elevated work platforms (EWP), height safety, fall arrest, crane operating and working in confined spaces. Notification: Five days before your work begins, we submit the necessary paperwork to WorkSafe including an Asbestos Removal Control Plan (ARCP), which outlines steps that will be taken to mitigate risks associated with removal of your specific job. This includes photos, the floor plan, the qualifications of Asbestos Contracting workers undertaking the job, proof of equipment testing and emergency planning.
Removal: The work is carried out including safe disposal of all asbestos.
Inspection: A qualified independent asbestos assessor will inspect the site to ensure the removal process has met the required standards and that the property has been left free of asbestos and asbestos contamination.
Invoice: Once the job is complete, you can move back into your property, and we will dispatch a bill for the work.
