Prep area: Isolating work area; preparing tray with truck liners; laying polythene under and around the truck to catch any dirt and prevent further contamination; dampening soil to minimise dust. The digger is equipped with HEPA filters to catch any asbestos particles. All Asbestos Contracting staff wear personal protective equipment including respiratory protection.
Removal: Dampening down soil during removal. Bucket washed over truck tray to catch runoff. Bin liner sealed and truck cover closed before transporting soil to a registered disposal facility.
Independent inspection: Clearance Inspection by a WorkSafe qualified independent assessor, including air monitoring and soil sampling.
Demobilisation: Removal of all our equipment and tidying of the site.
